Bruce Fischer
MM, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Bruce Fischer, piano, has an M.M. degree with a major in piano and organ from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has performed as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. He taught piano and solfege at the St. Louis Conservatory of Music (preparatory division) for seven years. Outside of CCMC, he currently teaches at Piedmont Piano Company Music School and serves as a board member of the Alameda branch of the MTAC. As a teacher, he encourages the abilities and inclinations of individual students and emphasizes a well-rounded musical education, preparing interested students for the MTAC Certificate of Merit program.
