Ondine Young

Ondine Young directs choirs and string courses of all ages at Crowden, St. David of Wales, Kairos, and other Bay Area institutions. She maintains a private teaching studio (Arlington Arts), and was a conductor for the San Francisco Boy's Chorus. Dr. Young completed a doctorate in musical arts in choral and early music at the University of Southern California, studied at UC Santa Cruz and UC Santa Barbara, and was formerly on the faculty of the University of San Diego. She performs throughout Northern and Southern California as a violinist and violist with early music ensembles such as the American Bach Soloists, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Musica Angelica, Magnificat, Jubilate, El Mundo, and is founding member of La Monica (www.lamonicaensemble.com).
