CCMC Individual Instruction faculty members are selected from among the area’s finest musicians and music educators to provide a focused, supportive, and well-rounded musical education for every ability level. (Click here to see a list of faculty).
Students are matched with a teacher following a placement interview with the CCMC Director. Teacher-student placements are made taking into account playing level, personality, and schedule. The semi-private option is intended for pre-formed pairs of students of similar playing level.
The individual instruction semester is scheduled on a 16-week calendar. Students may register at any time during the semester and tuition will be prorated accordingly.
Private lesson tuition includes:
- A non-refundable $15 registration fee
- A placement interview with the CCMC Director
- Weekly lessons tailored to meet each student's needs and abilities
- Regular evaluation of student development through written progress reports
- Rehearsals and performances with professional accompanists
- Opportunities to participate in CCMC student recitals and master classes
