Join us for musical fun throughout the day! As always, Community Music Day features our Instrument Petting Zoo, where kids (and adults) can explore, touch, and play all the different instruments in an orchestra, instrument-making workshops and demonstrations, face painting, and more! This year, we are pleased to offer a very special treat:
Very First Concerts with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra at Crowden Music Center
"Meet the Orchestra"
11:00 amThe San Francisco Chamber Orchestra performs a short and engaging program based on the musical theme "Meet the Orchestra." Tumbling mats for wriggling toddlers, short selections, and hands-on musical activities make this the perfect way to introduce your 3–7 year old to the joys of live classical music!
Community Music Day is Crowden’s largest outreach event of the year, with attendance averaging 800 people each year.
Community Music Day is free and open to the public. We hope to see you on October 26!
