Why Support Crowden?
The Crowden Music Center serves as a vital musical hub for the Bay Area, with over 8,000 individuals attending classes, workshops, rehearsals, concerts, and other events each year. Crowden is committed to reaching out to individuals for whom music education would be otherwise unavailable—to this end, over 50% of our students receive financial aid.

The actual costs of offering classes for the community and running the school are not covered by tuition alone. To keep classes at The Crowden School and in our community programs affordable to a broad range of people, we count on the generosity of parents, graduates, friends, corporations, and institutions.
With your assistance, Crowden provides the Bay Area with:
-
Excellence in music education, training, and performance opportunities
-
Crowden Center for Music in the Community, which provides an extensive range of after school, weekend, and summer lessons, classes, ensembles, and camps serving over 900 children and adults each year
-
Moderate tuition with financial aid available to qualified students
-
Faculty drawn from the Bay Area’s premier professional musicians and teachers
-
