Laura Serper

Laura Kakis Serper, TCS Choral Director, has vast experience in directing youth, childrens, and adult choirs, including Kairos Youth Choir, where she is the founder & director, the San Francisco Girls' Chorus and the San Francisco Boys' Chorus where she was the Artistic Director for three years. Ms. Kakis Serper received her degrees in Music Education and Voice Performance from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music as well as Westminster Choir College, and the Aspen Music Institute. Her Greek heritage inspired the founding and name of the Kairos Youth Choir and its choruses. The choral program at TCS provides a superb addition to students music education, with the exhilarating experience of performing beautiful, complex choral music. Ms. Serper has several vocal arrangements for chorus, published. One of her Greek folksong choral arrangements was recently performed by a choral festival at Carnegie Hall.
