Beginning Piano and Music Fundamentals
In this hands-on introductory class, students learn beginning piano skills and fundamentals of music literacy, including basic notation, rhythms, time signatures, and intervals.
Upon successful completion of this one-semester class, students are encouraged to continue with private lessons on an instrument of their choice.
Students are expected to practice piano assignments at home, and therefore need daily access to a piano or a keyboard on a stand with full-sized weighted keys.
