Artists speak about each work and share their personal observations in these intimate concerts. Our 40th season’s Sundays @ Four series showcases the unique artistry of Crowden’s community of musicians and accomplished alumni.

A Crowden 40th Anniversary Alumni Concert!
Join us for an afternoon of music with the Baumer String Quartet, an extraordinary string quartet with local roots, featuring three globally acclaimed players who went to middle school together at The Crowden School in Berkeley: Phoenix Symphony violinist Aaron Requiro, his younger brother, Naumburg International Violoncello Competition winner cellist David Requiro, and Dallas Symphony co-concert master Nathan Olson. Acknowledged as one of the finest young quartets in the country, the Baumer String Quartet distinguishes itself among audiences and critics for its technical finesse, warmth of expression, and cutting-edge performances.

Join us for our 40th Anniversary Launch Party immediately following the concert, with Crowden’s Artistic Director, our 40th Anniversary sponsors, Crowden donors and friends, Board members, and members of the Baumer Quartet! Enjoy catered hors d’oeuvres, a wine bar, remarks from Artistic Director Eugene Sor and Board Members, and the announcement of our celebratory 40th Season, sponsors, and special 40th Anniversary honoree.
TICKET INFO:
$35 general admission, $20 seniors/students 18+, and free for children 8-18. (Sundays @ Four concerts are intended for audience members ages 8 and up, as they last about two hours in length, with a brief intermission.)
HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Masks are encouraged but not required on Crowden’s campus. This event is subject to change to comply with all public health guidelines.
