Crowden presents Sundays @ Four, our series of low-cost, family friendly concerts featuring distinguished chamber musicians. Artists speak about each work and share their personal observations in these intimate concerts. Our 40th season’s Sundays @ Four series showcases the unique artistry of Crowden’s community of musicians and accomplished alumni.

Hailed as “a triumph of ensemble playing” by the New York Times, this globally acclaimed, Fischoff Grand Prize-winning quartet is a frequent member of Crowden’s renowned summer chamber music faculty. Enjoy the impressive artistry of varied string quartet repertoire, including and exciting new commission by Berkeley-native composer Gabriela Lena Frank.

  • Dmitri Shostakovich | Quartet No. 9 in E-flat Major, Op. 117

TICKET INFO:

$35 general admission, $20 seniors/students 18+, and free for children 8-18. (Sundays @ Four concerts are intended for audience members ages 8 and up, as they last about two hours in length, with a brief intermission.)
