Heather O'Connor

Fifth Grade Core, Sixth Grade Math

Information not available

Originally from California, Heather began her music studies on the west coast, studying with Jerry Dagg and Jesse Read. Although her first passion was bassoon, she subsequently traversed vocations from bombarding Bach to besieging climate change-inspiring students to build toys from recycled, found objects and conserving renewable resources. Heather has developed and taught project-based curricula for children with learning differences for over a decade and enjoys the creative, technical, and social aspects of teaching. Heather is currently pursuing certification as an Educational Therapist and specializes in delivering multi-sensory, kinesthetic, sequential instruction in math in the classroom and in her private tutoring practice.

Rooted in the East Bay, Heather lives with her family, a hand-planted, native California landscape, and two rambunctious kittens.
