A native to San Francisco and a strong advocate of music education in the Bay Area, Jennifer M. Lee is a member of the MTAC and MTNA teaching organizations and enjoys teaching all ages and levels privately in San Francisco and in the Peninsula.
Jennifer is Staff Pianist at Sonoma State University, and previously at Interlochen Arts Camp and the Advanced Suzuki Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Rice University and Master of Music in Piano Performance with an emphasis in chamber music from Indiana University, where she studied with Dr. Robert Roux and Shigeo Neriki. She has performed chamber music with the Bloomington Camerata Orchestra, at Kent/Blossom Music Festival with The Cleveland Orchestra, Aspen Music Festival, Festival Napa Valley, and the Noontime Concert Series at St. Mary's Cathedral. At the Valley of the Moon Music Festival in Sonoma, a summer festival dedicated to presenting period instruments from the Classical and Romantic eras, she performed on two evolutions of the fortepiano.
