Biography

Kirsten Shallenberg comes to the Crowden School from Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View, where she ran the admissions process for the Private Lesson Program. Kirsten has been a music teacher, conductor, singer, pianist and cellist for over 25 years and currently performs as principal cellist with the Peninsula Symphony. When she’s not working or playing music, Kirsten likes to spend her time reading, playing cards and board games, and watching movies with her husband and daughter.
