Summer Programs Preview For 2027!

Make music with Crowden next Summer! Our 2027 program will offer opportunities for young beginners, developing musicians, advanced students, and adults to learn, create, and perform together. Explore a preview of what’s coming, with full program dates and registration details to be announced!

Keyboard Prep Primer | Ages 8-11 >

An introduction to piano and keyboard for ages 8–11, combining ear training, solfege, note reading, and ensemble play through the certified Harmony Road Music Program. No music experience required!

Ages: Ages 8 to 11
When: Multiple Sessions starting June 20 at 11am

Young Musician Primer | Ages 6-8 >

Young Musician Primer gives total beginners a taste of what musical study looks and feels like. Through singing, ear training, note reading, and keyboard play, children begin building their musical skills in a fun, supportive group setting. Parents participate in every class, making it easy to encourage and reinforce learning at home.

Hello Music | Ages 3-4 >

Music Is Calling — Say Hello! A lively introduction to music for three and four-year-olds, blending movement, singing, percussion, and keyboard play through the Harmony Road Music Program.

Young Musicians’ Vocal Academy >

Over the course of this two-week camp, students will gain important skills in vocal performance and receive musical training, which will prepare them for future musical theatre group and solo singing.

Ages: Ages 10-15
When: July 5 to July 16 | 9am-3pm
Status: Registration opens January 20 2027

Adult Vocal Intensive Workshop  >

Explore daily breath clinics, ear training, and sight reading sessions. Dedicated independent rehearsal time is provided for participants to grow their vocal range. Vocalists of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to participate, though a basic understanding of music-reading fundamentals is required.

When: July 24 and July 25, and July 31 - August 3 | 9am-5pm daily

Private Lessons >

Crowden offers expert-led private lessons for Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Flute, Double Bass, Piano and Composition.

Ages: Ages 6 to Adult
When: Rolling enrollment year-round subject to teacher availability

Adult Chamber Music Workshop >

Crowden’s five-day intensive workshop combines daily coachings and master classes with time for independent practice.

Ages: Ages 18+ (open to rising college freshmen and older)
When: August 4 to August 8

Chamber Music Workshop >

Develop ensemble playing skills through the study and performance of the world’s greatest chamber music masterworks!

Ages: Ages 14 to 19
When: July 19 to 30

John Adams Young Composers Program Workshop >

A creative workshop for young composers of all levels, students will compose a suite of miniatures for voice and piano. Our accomplished faculty and guest artists provide guidance and feedback as participants refine their work. The camp culminates in a public performance of student works by professional musicians.

Summer Strings >

Spend two fun weeks in our camp designed for beginning- to intermediate-level violin, viola, and cello players! Complete beginners are welcome.

Intermediate- to advanced-level string players deepen their ensemble playing experience in this intensive two-week workshop.
