Course Description

June 22 to 27, 2020**
Monday through Saturday, 9am to 3:30pm

**UPDATE: Young Musicians' Chamber Music Academy will not be held in June as originally planned due to public health concerns. However, holding programs in a modified format looks possible for later in the summer. We are planning to reschedule for August, with the specific dates to be determined in the upcoming month. We will update our communities by July 1st at the latest whether we plan to move forward with August rescheduling or cancel the camp altogether for 2020.

We are currently working to develop health protocols, revise our summer curriculum and schedule in order to be in compliance with projected city, county, and state mandates guarding against the spread of COVID-19.

Please contact Rachel Ahrenstorff, Summer Programs Coordinator with additional questions.

Intermediate- to advanced-level string players deepen their ensemble playing experience in this intensive week-long workshop. Students develop their musicianship and communication skills through daily participation in chamber music, string orchestra, master classes, and musicianship clinics. Daily outdoor time is also included to balance the day.

Audition by appointment; Crowden will contact prospective students after receipt of registration.

Crowden is working carefully to reopen our campus. » Click here to learn more about our reopening and COVID-19 response plans.
