Before- and after-care is available 8 to 9am and 3 to 6pm for an additional $11 per hour (advance signup required, nonrefundable). Drop-in care is available for $14 per hour.

Young Musicians' Chamber Music Academy

Course Description

July 1 to 12
Monday through Wednesday and Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm

Intermediate- to advanced-level string players deepen their ensemble playing experience in this intensive two-week workshop. Students develop their musicianship and communication skills through daily participation in chamber music, string orchestra, master classes, and musicianship clinics. Daily outdoor time is also included to balance the day.

Audition by appointment required; Crowden will contact prospective students after receipt of registration.

Before- and after-care is available 8–9am and 3–6pm at an additional charge of $11/hour (advance signup required, nonrefundable). Drop-in care is available for $14 per hour.

Please note: Crowden’s summer programs are subject to change based on public health guidelines. Masks are strongly encouraged but not required on the Crowden campus.
