Kindergarten Academics Teacher

I love the wonder and curiosity early learners bring into the classroom. It’s a privilege to help guide their growth academically, socially, and emotionally during such an important stage in their development. Every day with young children is full of possibility.

Kindergarten Music & Suzuki Teacher

This is one of the most effective ages for musical instruction. Kindergarteners have remarkably developed motor control, and their open-mindedness and lack of self-consciousness allow them to take in new information at an impressive rate. It's only fitting that Crowden has now expanded to include Kindergarten.

The Music Curriculum

Music as a Foundation for Lifelong Learning

In Kindergarten, students explore cello and violin, building confidence and fine motor skills.

Music and movement classes twice a week lay the groundwork for rhythm, harmony, and creativity. As students move into 1st and 2nd grades, they continue building musical fluency through Crowden’s expanding curriculum—culminating in ensemble performances, orchestra, and musicianship.
