Chamber music is one of the most rewarding and demanding forms of music making. Our five-day summer intensive offers something rare for adult musicians: total immersion in your instrument, your ensemble, and the simple pleasure of making music all day. You’ll be surprised how far you can travel together in a week.
Each participant plays in two ensembles, exploring chamber music’s most beloved repertoire under the guidance of Crowden’s renowned faculty. Daily coachings and master classes deepen both your ensemble skills and your musical understanding, culminating in a concert for family and friends on the final day.
Open to string, wind, and piano players. Group placement is based on audition; pre-formed groups are welcome and encouraged to apply. Crowden will contact prospective students to schedule an audition after receipt of the registration form.
