Course Description

June 17 to 28
Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm

Spend two fun weeks in our camp designed for beginning- to intermediate-level violin, viola, and cello players! Complete beginners are welcome. Each student receives one private lesson, and participates in a variety of activities, including an all-camp string ensemble and all-camp chorus, outdoor play, arts & crafts, and music games. Intermediate-level participants are placed into chamber ensembles or group classes.

Placement interview required for all students with previous experience on their instrument.

Before- and after-care is available 8–9am and 3–6pm at an additional charge of $11/hour (advance signup required, nonrefundable). Drop-in care is available for $14 per hour.

Please note: Crowden’s summer programs are subject to change based on public health guidelines. Masks are strongly encouraged but not required on the Crowden campus.
