Course Description
Private lessons are the foundation of a musical education, providing the concentrated work and individual attention needed to develop a student’s skills and enthusiasm. Composition lessons at Crowden School develop each student’s musical voice through guided exploration of structure, harmony, and form, helping students translate ideas into original work with clarity and intention.
Crowden’s private lesson faculty members are selected from among the area’s finest musicians and music educators to provide a focused, supportive, and well-rounded musical education for every ability level. See our faculty roster!
Students are matched with a teacher based on playing level, learning style, and schedule. Rolling enrollment is available year-round, subject to teacher availability. Availability is limited and placements are not guaranteed. New students will start lessons after August 29, 2026. Weekly lessons are scheduled by mutual arrangement with your teacher, within the Crowden calendar.
