Christiana was born into a military family, mostly growing up between Washington, DC and Rome, Italy. After graduating from UC Berkeley, Christiana’s first career was in Finance. She settled in Piedmont California to raise her family, eventually finding time to go back into the studio. As a teacher and artist, she strives to develop a studio environment that supports whole student growth and academic development. She is drawn to transformative art that changes how a viewer thinks and feels. When not in the classroom, she can be found creating, cooking, reading or traveling across the globe.
