Biography
Marjan is General Counsel and Secretary for Rewiring America, a nonprofit focussed on household electrification as a means to combat climate change. Marjan has previously served as a director and officer for the Connecticut Fund for the Environment / Save the Sound, and currently acts as a global advisor to How Women Lead (focussed on reproductive rights and justice worldwide). She has two children who both adore Crowden's community programs (Scrape, Squawk and Bang! Summer Strings! The Chamber Academy!), and is herself a lapsed bassist.
Marjan has a JD from Boston University School of Law and an MBA from the Yale School of Management, with a focus on sustainability. A transplant from the East Coast, she now lives in Berkeley, CA where there is nary a snow shovel to be seen.
