Heather Moore, Chief of Staff, grew up in the East Bay before moving to New Zealand where she studied and worked in Politics and Not for Profit Management. She served on the board of a local YWCA that supported women to achieve personal, career, and educational goals through microcredit loans. Heather attributes her experience with the YWCA for developing her leadership and strategic operational abilities, eventually being elected Vice President of the YWCA of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Growing up in a musical family, Heather developed an appreciation for chamber and choral music, participating in school and church choirs throughout her youth and adult life. In 2019 Heather returned to the San Francisco Bay Area to be closer to family. Heather has worked with children, youth, and families for more than ten years over various roles from Youth Development and Advocacy to serving as Executive Director of an adoption agency. Heather is excited to bring her professional skills and love of music to the Crowden School.
